"Yoz, i haf read ur fren's blog, she commented "i half hope he doesn't ever read my comment coz i have this imagination that he'll somehow find me in school and beat me up. u know how army guys are like rite?"
She was refering to yiqin, at the same time we army guys are being stereotyped as violent... Ha ha.
So any comments? "

comments ah ? hmmm
i remember nel writing about she canot stand guys who keep hurling vulgarities and also another one bout a gal in her lecture whu used ugly words
it's quite ironic when i read her articles
becoz, i confess, i also used alot of vulgar language in camp (certainly not at home)
let mi bring u back to my BMT days
on the very first day , our sgts have gathered my platoon and started a ice-breaking session
then one of them asked, "ok,those whu have nvr say vulgarities before , raise ya hand"
the whole platoon was grinning away

my sgt commented sincerely," oi it's not farni ok.there do are ppl who are not used to vulgarities and find it offending.so we need to find out if there's anyone"

then my platoon sgt interuppted,"anyone anot?!?"
there was this very gentle-looking guy who raised his hand
everyone's attenton was now focused on him
and my platoon sgt goes,"har realli ar?!?nvr use b4..dun bluff u noe..."
the guy nodded his head
then my PS said to a half-stunned him,"ok say one vulgarity now or u knock it down"
we look at the guy and the guy look at the PS
"hurry up or u knock down u noe!"
it seems like eternity but finally , with a defeated look, the poor guy uttered one single vulgarity( i forgot wat)
and everyone simply collapsed into laughter at that point (the guy a while ltr also laugh laugh)
it was quite farni at that time

then my PS say,"the reason why we asked u all who find vulgarities offending is becoz there been past cases whereby recruits canot stand vulgarities and complained.
but i wana tell u , in army, almost EVERyone use vulgarites. you will hear them everyday one.but ar, we dun mean to insult u or wat u noe. It's like part of the language and jokingly one.no offense aimed at any body .."
then he turned to the guy who raised his hand ," dun take it to heart ar.."

once u go ns, even if a guy nvr used vulgarities before, ltr he willl more or less used a few himself
it's part of army life
nel, i understand why u find it so disgusting
many of us guys know that it's not gd to use it outside camp
sometimes , one of us forgot where we are and uttered some in the public
then he will get shut up by the others
and tt person will end up rather sheepish haha

tt's y out of camp, we guys always took great care not to use
but among guys ourselves, we dun realli mind one another using
coz , how to say, we noe the user dun meant it as a personal insult
i expect this bad habit will leave us once we are out of national service.(the environment one is in does have a effect)

truth be told, i also canot stand girls who swear
i remember i was having dinner outside.
there were this pretty lass sitting near mi with her fren
imagine my shock when all of a sudden while she was chatting away, she suddenly started gg "chee bye this chee bye that " rather loudly
i practically dropped my spoon

no no, there's nothing cool about using vulgarities.FULL STOP
